At the early stage of her career, she worked for the German Aerospace Center, DLR, as a research engineer and later joined the European Space Agency (ESA) where she was the Programme Advisor to the Director General at the agency's headquarters in Paris. She was nominated as the first President of the then just founded Portuguese national space agency, Portugal Space. Prior to joining Neuraspace, Thomas held various positions in business strategy, sales, and engineering with some of the most prominent players in the satellite communication industry, including ST Engineering iDirect, Newtec and SES. Thomas holds an engineering degree in software engineering from the University of Applied Sciences in Darmstadt. He also earned an MBA from the University of St. Gallen in Switzerland. Based in South Carolina, USA, Elizabeth brings two decades of leadership across satellite operations, mission management, and aerospace program delivery. Her operational background spans service as a U.S. Air Force officer specializing in Space Operations and Nuclear Command and Control; directing imaging operations for Maxar’s high-resolution Earth observation constellation; and leading global spacecraft operations at Spire Global for more than 100 CubeSats. In these roles, she has consistently driven advancements in efficiency, scalability, and automation. Elizabeth has also held leadership positions in propulsion testing and compliance at Agile Space Industries, where she bridged engineering, live-fire test operations, and program delivery. Elizabeth holds a B.S. in Economics from the United States Air Force Academy, an M.S. in Organizational Leadership, and an MBA.
